AGUA music 2025
This original track with melancholic overtones was recorded in 2009. AGUA music reissues this chiaroscuro melody, a sort of intimate, refined, and deeply delicate jewel. Toots Thielemans and his velvety harmonica deliver a suspended interpretation, while Quentin Dujardin‘s guitar evokes a certain tranquility.
The dialogue between these two melodists takes us back with emotion to the guitarist’s childhood, watching Marcel Pagnol‘s films in the 1980s, including his famous Jean de Florette. The original music was composed by Jean-Claude Petit, and the interpretation was entrusted to the chromatic harmonica icon, Toots Thielemans. Listening to these songs over and over again inspired the writing of this piece.
En t’attendant was featured on the album Impressionniste released in 2010.
